Sarah, a single mother and nurse, works multiple shifts to buy the house she rents as a Christmas gift for her children. Chris, a real estate developer, inherits several rental properties, including Sarah, after his father’s sudden passing.
Electrical issues plague the house, and as Chris comes to help, he’s quickly brought in by her two children to become part of the family. They help him grieve his father’s death, while he helps Sarah find love and stability as his real estate company pressures him to sell the homes.
The family feels betrayed when the company moves to sell their house. But Chris finds a way to prioritize people over property, ensuring Sarah and her kids can keep their home. Meanwhile, Chris finds a family of his own for Christmas.
